Create a Happiness Habit

If you ask anyone, they’ll tell you that they want to be happy, right? So how come very few of us take action daily to consciously incorporate pearls of happiness into our lives? Habit building has become very popular, and rightly so. After three weeks of sticking to a daily habit, enough momentum has been created to bring about significant improvements.

You may have added daily flossing to your routine and now have shiny white teeth as a result. You may have been sticking to a daily exercise routine and sure enough, you’re feeling much better. You may have reaped the benefits of a meditation habit and are now much more ‘zen’ even when a barrage of stressors floods in.

Happiness Habit Challenge

My challenge to you is this: Build a daily happiness habit and see what happens. Here is what I am proposing:

  • COMMIT 100% to BUILD a DAILY HAPPINESS HABIT TODAY. Send me a quick email (anita@soulfulness.art) to tell me that you are starting and I will hold you accountable.
  • Spend 30 minutes every day fully engaging in something that makes you really happy no matter how busy you are.
  • Keep a happiness habit journal to record your daily action for happiness
  • COMMIT TO EVALUATING THE RESULTS IN 66 DAYS (average amount it takes for a habit to become automatic)
  • Report back to me to share your results and insights
